In recent years, Elmy has begun to write both about his memories from his childhood, his family and his hometown, as well as the evolution of his thinking on social issues, on how he sees the world and the society in which we live in.
In this section, the reader will find some of his recent essays, columns and articles, as well as some other writings of his career. Most of his writings are in his native Spanish but some are in English.

Recientemente, Elmy ha comenzado a escribir sobre sus recuerdos de su infancia, su familia y su pueblo, además de su evolución en su pensamiento sobre temas sociales, de come ve el mundo y la sociedad donde vivimos.
En esta sección, el lector encontrará algunos de sus ensayos, columnas y artículos recientes al igual que otros escritos especiales de su carrera serán incluidos. La mayoría de sus escritos son en su lengua vernácula, español, pero algunos están redactados en el idioma ingles.
